RIP Jim Hollands

I have received the very last magazine "Rye's Own", editorial by Jim Hollands.

With is was a very sad letter announcing the death of Jim. It was a very painful day for me personally.

Through his team, at his request, I had been invited to write articles with some photos of my paintings.

Along the years, the magazine had changed name, to Cinque Ports. Jim published my articles several times! It was a great honour.

When Jim came to visit us, I discovered the kind man he was.

We had conversations online. Very often he kindly told me he loved my watercolours

He was giving to people his passion for our heritage, defending our towns from greedy developers and much more.

He was involved in so many events of all kind...a brilliant cyclist, he was seen everywhere.

You will be badly missed Jim by hundreds of people to whom you have touched their lives.
