The Fishermen's Beach, Hastings (2)

£2,000.00

This second painting of the fishermen's beach in Hastings, East Sussex, captures the vibrant essence of coastal life. The canvas highlights the dynamic interplay of light and shadow as it dances upon the weathered fishing boats, each vessel telling a story of the day’s toil and triumph.

Rich hues of azure and cerulean reflect the water’s surface, while the sandy shore boasts a warm palette of golden tones, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the scene. In the foreground, fishermen engage with their craft, showcasing the diligence and camaraderie that defines this community.

The background features the iconic cliffs of East Sussex, their rugged beauty juxtaposed against the pebbles of the beach.

This painting not only serves as a tribute to Hastings’ maritime heritage but also as an exploration of light and texture, inviting the audience to feel the salty breeze and hear the calls of seabirds. Each stroke embodies the artist's respect for the landscape and appreciation for the stories interwoven within it..

Size of the painting : 48cm x 75 cm. It is presented in a beautiful ornate frame, dimensions are: 69.5 cm x 99.5 cm.

It was executed in Acrylic, exhibited in Canterbury. Remained in the family until now. We have decided to let go a few large paintings to gain space

Far too heavy to send by courier, this painting needs to be collected from the studio.

This is a smaller version of a very large painting but with a different scenery of the beach in Hastings, a place that had captured Beatrice’s imagination.

The size of the work is 48cm x 75 cm.

Presented in a heavy ornate frame, dimensions are 69.5 cm x 96.5cm

Due to the weight, it needs to be collected from the studio.

Great painting for a board room, business, hotel. Etc
